Ferrari has officially unveiled the name of its first all-electric sports car: “Luce”—Italian for “light”—symbolizing the brand’s bold step into an electrified future. The vehicle was designed by the LoveFrom team, led by former Apple Chief Design Officer Jony Ive and designer Marc Newson. Emphasizing minimalist cohesion, the interior features 100% recycled aluminum and Corning Gorilla Glass. Inside, the cabin is equipped with three screens: a dual-layer OLED instrument panel, a centrally mounted touchscreen with a spherical pivot allowing free adjustment—integrating functions such as CarPlay and climate control—and a dedicated rear passenger display. Making its industry debut is a color E-Ink key fob; when inserted into the center console, it automatically switches the interface theme and illuminates all onboard screens. The steering wheel, inspired by the classic Nardi design, has been lightened by 400 grams and retains physical buttons to enhance driver engagement. Overall, the design seamlessly blends traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology—a tribute to Ferrari’s heritage while embracing the future.
