Tesla has filed criminal charges against a member of Germany's IG Metall union for secretly recording a confidential labor-management meeting at its Gigafactory near Berlin. According to a memo issued by the company to employees, the external union representative attended the meeting as a "guest" but used a computer to record the proceedings. Tesla Plant Manager Thierry emphasized that such meetings are strictly confidential and that unauthorized recording constitutes a criminal offense. The company confirmed the accuracy of the memo, further escalating tensions between Tesla and IG Metall.
