XPeng Motors announced that the 2026 XPeng X9 all-electric MPV will launch on March 2, positioning itself as the "world's longest-range all-electric large seven-seater MPV." The new model delivers a CLTC-rated range of 750 km, with an energy consumption of just 15.9 kWh per 100 km, and comes standard across all trims with 5C ultra-fast charging capability. In terms of interior space, the X9 features three rows of electrically powered "tri-fold" seats, offering flexible seating configurations for 4, 5, 6, or 7 passengers. Its zero-gravity seats can recline fully flat at 180 degrees, and it boasts the segment’s widest center aisle at 180 mm. For driving dynamics and safety, every variant is equipped with active rear-wheel steering (achieving a minimum turning radius of 5.4 meters), an intelligent dual-chamber air suspension system, and a blowout-stabilization system. On the intelligence front, the vehicle is powered by the Turing chip, delivering up to 2,250 TOPS of computing power, and its AEB (Automatic Emergency Braking) system now operates effectively at speeds up to 130 km/h. For reference, the current X9 super extended-range version is priced between RMB 309,800 and RMB 329,800, offering an all-electric range of 452 km and a combined range of 1,602 km.
