On March 12, BMW Group released its 2025 financial results, reporting annual revenue of €133.45 billion, a 6.3% year-over-year decline, and pre-tax profit of €10.23 billion, down 6.7%. Automotive segment revenue totaled €117.55 billion, decreasing by 5.9%, while pre-tax profit for the segment plunged 21.2% to €5.94 billion. Despite a slight 0.5% increase in global vehicle deliveries to 2.463 million units, regional performance varied significantly: sales rose by 7.3% in Europe and 5% in the U.S., whereas deliveries in China fell 12.5% year-over-year to 626,000 units—the lowest level since 2021—reflecting intensifying competition and volatile demand in the local market.
