Recently, the China Automotive Technology & Research Center (CATARC) Institute of Technology and Innovation released the "2025 China Automotive Patent Data Statistical Research Report." According to the report, FAW Jiefang published 1,167 invention patents in 2025, ranking first in China's commercial vehicle industry—646 more than the second-place company—and became the only enterprise in the sector to surpass 1,000 published invention patents. This marks the third consecutive year that FAW Jiefang has topped the list, underscoring its sustained leadership in technological innovation.
