The Audi Q9 is scheduled for an official launch in the second half of 2026 and is expected to make its global debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show. Positioned as a full-size SUV, the Q9 will measure over 5.2 meters in length with a wheelbase exceeding 3.1 meters. It will feature standard three-row seating for seven passengers, with optional configurations for four, five, or six seats. Exterior design emphasizes a bold and muscular aesthetic, highlighted by straight character lines along the sides, flush-fitting door handles, neatly framed windows, a continuous shoulder line, and expansive side windows between the wide C- and D-pillars. Roof rails are integrated into the roofline, complemented by multi-spoke black sport wheels and wide-profile tires, all mounted on a moderately elevated chassis. Inside, the cabin follows Audi’s latest interior design language, featuring multiple large displays, with an optional third screen available. In terms of powertrains, diesel variants will not be offered in Europe. Instead, the lineup will focus on a 3.0T V6 gasoline engine and a plug-in hybrid system delivering over 460 horsepower. The high-performance SQ9 variant will be powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.0T V8 engine. All models will come standard with Audi’s quattro all-wheel-drive system and an automatic transmission. Pricing in Europe will start at no less than €120,000 (approximately RMB 960,000).
