2026-04-18 00:00:00Since their pre-sales launch at the end of March, the Hongmeng Intelligent Mobility Shangjie Z7 and Z7T have accumulated over 70,000 orders. Both models will officially debut and reveal their final prices on April 22, with a starting pre-sale price of RMB 229,800. The Z7 is positioned as a pure-electric fastback sedan, while the Z7T is a pure-electric shooting brake. The two share highly consistent exterior designs, featuring a low-slung, aerodynamic silhouette, low drag coefficient, dual LED headlights, and front bumper side air intakes. Both models are equipped with full-width taillights that enhance the visual width of the rear; the Z7T’s shooting brake design gives its rear a fuller appearance. The Shangjie Z7 measures 5,036 mm in length, 1,976 mm in width, and 1,465 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. It features a liftback tailgate with an opening height of 966 mm, and when the rear seats are folded down, the trunk capacity expands to 1,582 liters. All trims come standard with 245 mm front and 275 mm rear tires, the “Chase-the-Wind” sport package, and Huawei’s 896-line LiDAR. In terms of intelligent driving, all variants are equipped with Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 4.1 advanced driver-assistance system, supporting urban NOA (Navigation-guided City Driving Assist) without reliance on high-definition maps and parking assist across all scenarios. The suspension setup consists of a double-wishbone front and five-link rear configuration, with higher trims offering optional air suspension and CDC electromagnetic damping systems. Powertrain options include single-motor and dual-motor configurations: the single-motor version delivers a maximum output of 264 kW and a top speed of 220 km/h; the dual-motor variant adds a 170 kW motor on the front axle, achieving top speeds of 239 km/h and 242 km/h respectively. All models are powered by Huawei’s “Giant Whale” battery platform—standard versions feature an 81 kWh LFP (lithium iron phosphate) battery, while Max and Ultra trims are equipped with a 100 kWh ternary lithium battery. The Max variant, which is rear-wheel drive, offers a CLTC-rated range of up to 905 km and supports 800V high-voltage fast charging, capable of adding over 200 km of range in just five minutes.
