On the eve of the 2026 Beijing Auto Show, Roewe officially unveiled "Jiayue," the world’s first AI-native vehicle series co-developed with ByteDance’s Volcano Engine, alongside three concept models: Jiayue 07, Jiayue 06, and Jiayue 09. The two companies adopted a forward-integrated, deeply collaborative model, jointly developing foundational technologies across AI-native architecture, intelligent cockpits, and vehicle-cloud integration, covering everything from interaction experience definition to AI platform development. The Jiayue series is deeply integrated with Volcano Engine’s Doubao large model 2.0 series, marking the first time a large AI model directly schedules, makes decisions for, and executes commands on physical automotive systems. This breakthrough propels AI beyond internet applications into the Internet of Things (IoT) era, transforming vehicles into embodied intelligent terminals. To support this vision, Roewe has invested tens of billions of RMB to develop a next-generation intelligent electronic/electrical (E/E) architecture featuring over 2,000 SOA-based service interfaces—the industry’s only全域 (full-domain) implementation—enabling atomic-level decomposition and precise orchestration of hardware and software components. At its core lies the industry-first CPP AI-native architecture, comprising three modules: Context (information acquisition and long-term memory), Planner (intelligent analysis and decision-making), and Pixel (atomic-level execution), forming a fully closed-loop system across the entire chain. The three concept vehicles are tailored to distinct family mobility needs in the AI era: - The Jiayue 07 is a mainstream mid-to-large five-seater SUV designed for typical families, measuring nearly 5 meters in length and equipped with an advanced intelligent driving assistance system; its side cameras automatically deploy upon startup. - The Jiayue 06 targets younger, trend-conscious families with its youthful design and AI-powered intelligent cockpit. - The Jiayue 09 is a flagship six-seater offering extended range and full-scenario capabilities, catering to premium family travel requirements. The Jiayue 07 concept will debut at the Beijing Auto Show on April 24, with its production version scheduled for launch in June at Volcano Engine’s Force Source Power Conference. Starting with the Jiayue 07, Roewe plans to introduce a new vehicle every three months to rapidly expand its product portfolio.
