Recently, Zhuoyu Technology partnered with FAW Hongqi to open a technology showroom, which has entered a trial operation phase and is essentially operating as a fully functional facility. The showroom adopts an agency model and, in addition to vehicle sales, features a dedicated area showcasing intelligent driving technologies. Whether this model will be rolled out nationwide will depend on overall operational performance. According to informed sources, this marks Zhuoyu Technology’s first foray into offline channels, aiming to collaborate with OEMs to enhance consumer awareness of intelligent driving technologies. Going forward, the company may adopt a lightweight approach—for example, through modular display setups. Zhuoyu already has relevant plans in place to continuously empower dealerships in jointly promoting and selling intelligent driving-related products, with some initiatives already underway. Zhuoyu Technology originated as DJI Automotive, established in 2016 initially as an internal project team within DJI focused on intelligent driving technology R&D. It was spun off from DJI as an independent entity in 2023 and officially launched “Zhuoyu” as its business brand in June 2024. In November 2025, FAW Group invested over RMB 3.6 billion in Zhuoyu Technology. Following the transaction, Zhuoyu remains independently operated, with a post-investment valuation exceeding RMB 10 billion. Currently, Zhuoyu is conducting a Pre-IPO funding round of approximately RMB 2 billion, at a pre-money valuation of around RMB 12.5 billion, and plans to list on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange later this year.
