EXEED, Chery’s premium brand, has released official images of its all-new EX6 model, which is scheduled to launch in the third quarter of 2026. The vehicle features a roof-mounted LiDAR unit, signaling that its advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) will support both urban and highway navigation-assisted driving capabilities. Official photos reveal that the car integrates ADAS status indicator lights—commonly known as “blue lights”—on both ends of the front light bar, on the side mirrors, and within the rear light clusters. In terms of design, the EX6 adopts a borderless grille with a honeycomb-patterned texture, complemented by a full-width daytime running light strip and split headlamp units, creating a layered and sporty aesthetic. The roof includes a panoramic sunroof that can be opened. Two wheel size options are offered—19-inch and 20-inch—with corresponding tire sizes including 225/55 R19, 235/55 R19, and 245/50 R20. The showcased model features multi-spoke dual-tone wheels paired with red brake calipers. The rear end follows a minimalist design language, featuring a clean full-width taillight and a high-mounted stop lamp. Details of the taillights also incorporate the ADAS indicator lighting elements. According to filings with China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the EX6 offers a five-seat layout and is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) system. The 1.5T turbocharged engine delivers a maximum output of 115 kW. While specific motor specifications have not yet been disclosed, based on its platform sibling—the Yaoguang C-DM—it is expected that the EX6 will be available in both front-wheel-drive (FWD) and all-wheel-drive (AWD) variants. The FWD version is likely to feature a single front-mounted motor with an output of either 150 kW or 165 kW, while the AWD variant will employ dual motors—one at the front (165 kW max power) and one at the rear (175 kW peak power).
