VW Touareg Last Edition bids farewell to V8 diesel

It is reported that the Volkswagen Touareg has released a special version of the Last Edition of the 4.0-liter V8 TDI model. The new car is limited to 400 units. At the same time, this model will also become the final model of the Touareg V8 diesel.

As a limited-edition model, the Touareg V8 Last Edition is equipped with an R-Line package with black wheels and decorative strips. The door handles and rearview mirror housings are also painted in black. At the same time, the car is equipped with a "Last Edition" badge on the B-pillar to reflect the particularity of this model.

The Touareg Last Edition is equipped with a 4.0-liter V8 diesel engine with a maximum power of 421 horsepower, a peak torque of 900 N·m, an acceleration time to 100 kilometers in 4.9 seconds, and a maximum towing mass of 3.5 tons. It is reported that after the launch of the Last Edition special edition model, Volkswagen will discontinue production of the 4.0-liter V8 TDI diesel engine due to lower nitrogen oxide emissions than the Euro VI emission standard.
