HUMMER EV Edition1 will be mass-produced in 2021

IIA has learned that GM’s GMC HUMMER EV Edition 1 has been booked for more than 10,000 vehicles. The new car is planned to start production at the Detroit-Hamtrak Assembly Center next year. In the future, it will also launch an EV3X version with a three-motor power system and an EV2X version with a dual-motor power system.

HUMMER EV Edition 1 adopts a more fashionable design language, and the penetrating LED lamp set with HUMMER English logo is very technological. The LED light strip and the enclosed grille are divided by letters, continuing the classic seven-hole front grille style, with a vertical front windshield and a square body shape, inheriting the genes of the Hummer model and also showing the hardcore style.

Interior, HUMMER EV Edition 1 adopts a dual-screen design, equipped with a 13.4-inch central control information screen and a 12.3-inch LCD instrument. Through the screen in the car and the camera at the bottom of the car, you can see the situation outside the car in real time. A total of 18 view modes can be provided.

HUMMER Edition 1 has a transparent roof that can be partitioned, MultiPro tailgate, Watts to Freedom mode, adaptive air suspension, Crab Walk crab four-wheel steering mode and extreme off-road package. The off-road kit includes underbody armor and 35-inch MT tires. In addition, it will be equipped with Super Cruise assisted driving system.

In terms of power, the Edition 1 version will use a three-motor power system. The maximum power of the system exceeds 1000 horsepower, the peak torque can reach 15,577N·m, and the 0-100km/h acceleration time is within 3 seconds. And will use Ultium battery pack, the capacity is between 50-200kWh, the maximum cruising range is expected to reach 640 kilometers. You can use a 350kW high-speed charging pile, which will greatly shorten the charging time.
