Once mired in a cash crunch and technological roadmap challenges, Zhuoyu Technology has now staged a remarkable turnaround. CEO Shen Shaojie publicly addressed criticisms for the first time, revealing that the company has fully pivoted to end-to-end autonomous driving technology and gained market recognition through its cost-effective, integrated hardware-software solution. To date, Zhuoyu has partnered with nine passenger vehicle OEMs across 15 brands, covering more than 50 mass-produced models and over 30 models currently in development, compatible with various powertrain systems—including internal combustion engine, hybrid, and battery-electric vehicles. Recently, the company secured a RMB 3.7 billion strategic investment from FAW Group, pushing its valuation into the tens-of-billions range. Shen stated that Zhuoyu has achieved breakthroughs in both passenger and commercial vehicle segments and plans to begin mass production of heavy-duty truck highway NOA (Navigate on Autopilot) in the first half of 2026. Notably, the company completed the transition from prototype to functional validation in less than two months, demonstrating that both its technology and business model have been validated—marking its approach toward the commercial inflection point in autonomous driving.
