Yu Zhi Jin, CEO of Huawei's Intelligent Automotive Solution Business Unit, revealed that Huawei Qiankun will launch ADS 5, HarmonyOS Cockpit 6, and the next-generation digital chassis engine XMC in 2026, with detailed technical specifications to be unveiled just before the 2026 Beijing Auto Show. Additionally, the LCoS dual-focus AR-HUD will debut on the new AITO M9, and new sensor hardware will make its first appearance on both the AITO M9 and the Luxeed S800. Currently, the ADS V4.1 version is undergoing filing procedures with China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), with an OTA update expected in early February, focusing on improved lane-change smoothness, enhanced decision-making in complex traffic scenarios, optimized three-point turn maneuvers, and the addition of eAES functionality along with support for rear-end collision prevention in front-and-rear sandwich scenarios.
