China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has recently disclosed the battery and range specifications for the Zeekr 8X. The vehicle will be offered with two ternary lithium battery options—55.1 kWh and 70 kWh—both expected to support 6C ultra-fast charging. Under the WLTC driving cycle, the pure electric ranges are rated at 256 km, 257 km, and 328 km, respectively. As a high-performance flagship SUV, the Zeekr 8X carries forward the design language of the Zeekr 9X and is equipped with LiDAR, enabling urban and highway navigation assistance as well as multi-scenario parking capabilities. It measures 5,100 mm in length, 1,998 mm in width, and 1,780 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,069 mm. A "Black Samurai" styling package will also be available as an option. Powering the vehicle is a 2.0T plug-in hybrid system, with the engine delivering a maximum output of 205 kW. The Zeekr 8X is also expected to feature advanced configurations such as a tri-motor setup and a 48V active anti-roll bar system. The model has already completed its official registration, though its market launch date has yet to be announced.
