Recently, Florida TikTok user Court Neylynn took her 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee to a local Goodyear Auto Service center after the "check engine" light came on. The shop diagnosed a leaking water pump, and she paid approximately $2,000 for a replacement. However, shortly after picking up the vehicle, smoke and coolant began leaking from the exhaust pipe, and the next day, the car wouldn’t start at all. When she returned to the shop, she was told the head gasket had blown and that an additional $3,600 would be needed for repairs. Neylynn accused the technicians of failing to perform a proper test drive after the repair and claimed she has evidence of their negligence. However, many online commenters argued that she continued driving despite noticing coolant leaks and other warning signs, which likely caused the engine to overheat and sustain severe damage. Experts emphasized that a coolant leak is a serious issue requiring immediate shutdown and towing for repairs. The Goodyear location in Orlando has declined to comment on the matter. Meanwhile, Neylynn has staged a protest outside the store, holding a sign to voice her complaint.
