Lithium Carbonate Prices Drop Sharply on Jan. 19, Falling Over RMB 3,000 per Ton in a Single Day

On January 19, lithium carbonate prices across the market generally declined. According to Gasgoo Auto, high-quality lithium carbonate was priced at RMB 145,500–147,000 per ton on that day, down RMB 3,350 per ton from the previous trading day. Battery-grade lithium carbonate was quoted at RMB 144,200–147,000 per ton, a decrease of RMB 3,400 per ton, while industrial-grade lithium carbonate traded at RMB 142,000–144,600 per ton, falling by RMB 3,700 per ton in a single day. All three categories of lithium carbonate products showed a clear downward pricing trend, reflecting broad market pressure.
