Recently, Xiaomi Auto conducted a 24-hour endurance challenge at the China Automotive Technology & Research Center (CATARC) Yancheng Test Facility. The new SU7 Max prototype maintained an average speed of 240 km/h over 24 consecutive hours—including charging time—and ultimately covered a total distance of 4,264 kilometers. During the test, the vehicle was charged 44 times, with each session lasting only 8–10 minutes. Xiaomi described the challenge as akin to “running a marathon at sprint pace,” rigorously testing core technologies including the electric drive system, battery, thermal management, and aerodynamics. Throughout the entire test, the vehicle’s Xiaomi HyperMotor V6s Plus consistently delivered 135 kW of power output at speeds exceeding 18,000 rpm, showing no performance degradation. This extreme test far exceeds typical daily driving conditions and aims to validate the reliability and energy efficiency of the vehicle’s triple-electric system (battery, motor, and electronic control) under high-intensity operating conditions, thereby providing technical assurance for mass-produced models.
