Zeekr recently released an official design interpretation of its new 8X model, which is positioned as a "Super Hybrid High-Performance Flagship SUV." The vehicle features a 0.618 golden ratio design, with dimensions of 5,100 mm (length) × 1,998 mm (width) × 1,780 mm (height) and a wheelbase of 3,069 mm, achieving a wheel-to-body ratio of 1:4. The front fascia integrates a monolithic vertical waterfall grille inspired by palace plinths, paired with an aerodynamic hood and dual-core adaptive AGS intelligent breathing grille (with a total opening area of 100,000 mm²), balancing efficient cooling and low aerodynamic drag. The doors feature a zero-flush design, aligning the glass seamlessly with the door frames. A Gulf Stream-inspired roofline and wave-like shoulder lines create a sense of motion and a floating window effect. At the rear, the wide and low-slung stance delivers a width-to-height ratio of 1.12, complemented by the "Vast Star Diamond" matrix taillights (featuring 25,368 diamond-cut facets) and a horizon-inspired full-width light bar (comprising 54,894 diamond-cut facets and 630nm ultra-red LED technology). Powering the vehicle is a 2.0T plug-in hybrid system delivering a maximum output of 205 kW. The 8X is also expected to offer advanced configurations such as a tri-motor megawatt electric drive system, a 6C ultra-fast charging battery, and a 48V active anti-roll bar. The model has already completed registration with China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), though its official launch date has yet to be announced.
