Volkswagen's iconic compact car, the Polo, is set for an electrified refresh. The ID. Polo, built on Volkswagen’s dedicated MEB+ electric platform, is scheduled to make its global debut in spring 2026. Retaining the classic design cues of the Polo while incorporating styling elements suited for the electric era, the new model measures 4,053 mm in length, 1,816 mm in width, and 1,530 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,600 mm, giving it a compact yet agile appearance. As a key model in Volkswagen’s strategy for the entry-level EV market, the ID. Polo not only carries forward the brand’s heritage but also aims to redefine the value benchmark for small electric vehicles. Official exterior images have not yet been released, with further details to be unveiled later.
