Despite the lack of significant growth in families with three children, China's premium MPV market is witnessing an explosive wave of new model launches, including the Galaxy V900, Leapmotor D99, and Zhiji V9. According to Gasgoo Automotive Research Institute, this surge is not driven by demographic dividends but rather by a combination of factors: upgraded family travel expectations, diversified lifestyles, rising demand from business-use scenarios, and the maturation of new energy vehicle (NEV) technologies. With their spacious interiors, flexible seating configurations, and advanced smart features, MPVs are shifting from being a "necessity for large families" to a "high-value choice for quality-conscious families and business users." MPV sales are projected to exceed 1.3 million units by 2026, with growth primarily fueled by mid-to-high-end NEV models. To stand out in this increasingly competitive market, automakers must achieve deep differentiation in electrification, intelligence, scenario-based functionality, and brand emotional appeal.
