International automotive supplier FORVIA HELLA recently announced that its Shareholders' Committee has formally appointed Juan Manuel Mollá as the new Managing Director of its Lighting Division and a member of the company's Management Board, effective immediately. The 54-year-old Mollá brings over 30 years of experience in the automotive industry, having held positions at multiple Tier-1 suppliers and OEMs. Most recently, he served as Chief Commercial Officer at Marelli. Bernard Schäferbarthold, who had been serving as interim head, will step down from the Management Board after February 15. The Chairman of the Shareholders' Committee expressed confidence that Mollá will strongly drive the growth of the lighting business, while Mollá himself thanked the company for its trust and said he looks forward to shaping the future of the lighting division together with his team.
