Chery QQ Makes a Grand Comeback! On February 6, at the "Chery QQ Night" event, the brand will unveil the all-new all-electric QQ3—a model designed to reignite collective memories of the '80s and '90s generations. Built on a dedicated EV platform, the QQ3 measures 4,195 mm in length, 1,811 mm in width, and 1,569 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,700 mm. It features a practical 5-door, 5-seat layout, offering significantly enhanced interior space. The QQ3 is available with two motor options—58 kW and 90 kW—and delivers CLTC-rated ranges of either 280 km or 401 km, powered by Gotion High-Tech lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries. Intelligence is its standout feature: the vehicle is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, a 15.6-inch 2.5K central touchscreen, and Chery’s proprietary Carmind large AI model, enabling advanced voice interaction. It also comes standard with Chery’s self-developed “Falcon 500” intelligent driving system, which includes highway NOA (Navigate on Autopilot), memory parking, and urban navigation assistance. Inside, the cabin boasts 256-color ambient lighting, ventilated and heated seats, and other premium touches that blend cutting-edge technology with comfort. As a former “people’s car” that once sold over one million units annually, the new QQ3 is no longer competing solely on low price. Instead, it aims to carve out a niche in the fiercely competitive micro-EV segment by combining smart technology with emotional brand appeal. Whether it can recapture past glory remains to be seen.
