The all-new GAC Honda Fit launched in January with a refreshed price of RMB 66,800 and a nationwide limited run of 3,000 units sold out within just 20 days of its market debut. Lin Zhibin, Deputy General Manager of the company, revealed that deliveries of the 3,000 units will be phased: approximately 600 units will be delivered between January and February, around 800 units in March, and the remaining vehicles will be delivered by April. Production is scheduled from January to March. It is reported that GAC Honda instructed its authorized dealers nationwide to stop accepting orders at 17:30 on February 3, when order numbers neared 3,000. No additional orders will be accepted, and this limited-edition model will not be produced again. Since its introduction to the Chinese market in 2003, the Fit has accumulated sales of nearly 1.5 million units.
