According to the latest announcement from China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), Great Wall Motor's Ora 5 has completed type approval for new hybrid and gasoline-powered variants, both retaining the current all-electric model's exterior design. The new models measure 4,471 mm in length, 1,833 mm in width, and 1,641 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,720 mm. Optional configurations include choices without a panoramic sunroof, as well as customizable wheel and roof colors. The current all-electric version was launched in December 2023, starting at RMB 99,800 (with a limited-time promotional price from RMB 91,800). It offers a CLTC-rated range of 580 km, comes standard with a panoramic sunroof, and features the Coffee Pilot Ultra advanced driver-assistance system. This system includes 27 perception sensors, such as LiDAR, enabling map-free full-scenario Navigation on Autopilot (NOA) and support for over 200 parking scenarios.
