On February 7, the Xiaomi YU7 GT Performance Edition appeared in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT)’s new vehicle registration catalog. Based on the standard YU7, the GT variant retains the family design language and debuts with an exclusive all-black paint option, complemented by distinctive features such as a wide-body kit, red brake calipers, a large rear diffuser, and a “GT” badge on the tailgate. Measuring 5,015 mm in length, 2,007 mm in width, and 1,597 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm, the vehicle is positioned as a mid-to-large SUV. It comes standard with 21-inch wheels and offers multiple wheel designs as optional upgrades. Powering the YU7 GT is a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system combining an Inovance motor at the front (288 kW) and a Xiaomi-developed motor at the rear (450 kW), delivering a combined output exceeding 1,000 horsepower and a top speed of 300 km/h. Additionally, the model offers extensive personalization options, including front light accents, a rear spoiler, a ducktail lip, and custom decals.
