On February 7, the Xiaomi Auto YU7 GT officially debuted in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's (MIIT) 404th batch of vehicle announcements. The car has entered the real-world testing phase and has undergone multiple rounds of tuning on the Nürburgring Nordschleife. Equipped with an active hydraulic suspension system, it can automatically lower its ride height and freely adjust power distribution in Track Mode, emphasizing track-focused performance. The YU7 GT features a dual-motor system co-developed by Xiaomi and Inovance Technology. Its front motor is identical to that of the SU7 Ultra (288 kW), while the rear motor delivers a peak output of 450 kW, resulting in a combined output of approximately 1,004 horsepower and a top speed of 300 km/h. Its main competitors include the Tesla Model Y Performance and the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT, targeting consumers passionate about track driving. Despite its formidable performance, the YU7 GT is positioned slightly below the SU7 Ultra, with an expected price range of RMB 400,000 to 500,000.
