Volvo's all-new electric sedan, the ES90, has officially appeared in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's (MIIT) 404th batch of the "Announcement of Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products." The new model continues Volvo's electric vehicle family design language, with dimensions of 5,000 mm in length, 1,942 mm in width, and 1,553/1,547 mm in height, and a wheelbase of 3,102 mm. In terms of powertrain, it will be offered in both single-motor and dual-motor variants: the single-motor version comes in two output calibrations—240 kW and 245 kW—while the dual-motor variant combines a 220 kW front motor with a 280 kW rear motor. Additionally, Volvo's all-electric SUV, the EX90, also appears in the same batch of the MIIT announcement.
