On February 10, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) released the latest list of new energy vehicles eligible for purchase tax exemptions, revealing detailed specifications of the AITO M9—the first MPV from Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA). The vehicle is offered in two battery variants: 37 kWh and 53 kWh, delivering WLTC-rated all-electric ranges of 158 km/210 km and 223 km, respectively. As a full-size MPV, the AITO M9 measures 5,359 mm in length, 2,009 mm in width, and 1,859/1,879 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,250 mm. It features a closed-off front fascia design and offers two grille options: horizontal-bar and mesh patterns. The interior emphasizes luxury, featuring Violet Dawn upholstery, genuine wood trim, an integrated panoramic display, crystal-finish rotary knobs, and NAPPA leather seats. It also comes equipped with HUAWEI SOUND premium audio. The cabin adopts a 2+2+3 seven-seat layout. The second-row independent seats support one-touch synchronized adjustment, offering up to 1.05 meters of extended leg support and swivel functionality. Powering the vehicle is a range-extended hybrid system comprising a 1.5T range extender and dual front-and-rear electric motors. The engine delivers a maximum output of 105 kW. Battery cells are supplied by CATL and are available in both lithium iron phosphate (LFP) and ternary lithium chemistries.
