In January 2026, JAC Motors reported total sales of 34,800 vehicles, a slight year-over-year decline of 2.14%. However, its new energy passenger vehicles stood out with impressive performance, selling 3,151 units—a surge of 183.11% year-over-year—making them the company's primary growth driver. During the same period, sales of basic passenger cars (sedans) reached 3,140 units, up 1.62% year-over-year; SUV sales totaled 3,712 units, down 6.23% year-over-year; and MPV sales plummeted to just 1,310 units, a sharp 42.47% decline compared to the same period last year.
