On February 11, the BYD Han L launched its fourth OTA update, officially rolling out the "God's Eye 5.0" intelligent driving system, which introduces 29 new features and optimizes six existing ones. Following the upgrade, the CLTC range of rear-wheel-drive models increases by 25 km, while all-wheel-drive variants gain an additional 15 km. The advanced driver-assistance system now includes new functions such as emergency roadside pull-over on highways and expressways, an energy-saving mode, and a lead-vehicle start-up alert, alongside the integration of an end-to-end large model. The in-car infotainment ecosystem has also been enhanced, adding support for Huawei HiCar mirroring and smartphone connectivity with brands like Samsung and OPPO. New practical and entertaining features include smart home control for Midea appliances, voice-activated ordering from Luckin Coffee, facial recognition payments, and a digital wooden fish mini-game. Additionally, user experience refinements cover HUD account memory, intelligent climate control modes, Sentry Mode video uploads, and faster Wi-Fi file transfers. This OTA update applies to multiple Han L DM and EV variants equipped with LiDAR, with specific features subject to the actual rollout.
