On February 12, Li Xiang, CEO of Li Auto, traveled specially to Haiyan County in Zhejiang Province to host a dinner for Yao Dongquan—a driver who had performed a heroic act—and his family, extending Lunar New Year greetings. In January this year, while driving a Li Auto vehicle across Xitang Bridge, Yao noticed a woman attempting to jump off the bridge and immediately stopped his car, rushed over, and rescued her. After police arrived at the scene, he quietly left without revealing his identity. Following widespread coverage of his courageous deed by CCTV News, Li Xiang publicly expressed his desire to personally thank the owner. During their meeting, Li not only fulfilled his promise to treat Yao to a meal but also granted him a special privilege: from February 12, 2026, to February 11, 2029, Yao can exchange his current Li Auto vehicle for any new model currently on sale (including the latest releases) free of charge. The news was confirmed and shared on social media by @Lao Mo Shuo, head of the Jiaxing Li Auto Owners Club, who posted details of the benefit.
