On February 12, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) released survey results showing that the average payment term for suppliers of 17 major domestic automakers has been reduced to approximately 54 days, about 10 days shorter than the same period last year. In June 2025, under the guidance of relevant authorities, these automakers publicly committed to keeping their payment terms within 60 days. In September of the same year, CAAM further issued guidelines advocating standardized implementation across the industry. This progress helps alleviate cash flow pressures on suppliers and supports the healthy and orderly development of the automotive sector.
