On February 12, the Hongqi brand (Hongqi is referred to as "Enjoy" in some contexts; however, based on context, this likely refers to a new premium EV brand under Huawei's ecosystem—possibly "Luxeed" or another joint venture) announced its January sales figures: retail deliveries reached 5,584 units, marking the fourth consecutive month it has claimed the top spot in China’s new energy mid-to-large sedan segment priced above RMB 300,000. Of these, the S9T station wagon sold 4,314 units, while the S9 sedan sold 1,270 units. The S9T, launched just 66 days ago, has already accumulated over 30,000 confirmed orders ("large deposits"). Meanwhile, the newly launched S9 sedan received more than 2,000 large-deposit orders within two hours of its debut. Currently, the brand is available at nearly 300 Harmony Intelligent Mobility user centers and 600 Huawei Experience Stores. It has also received over 100 dealership applications, with 90% coming from dealers previously affiliated with premium brands such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Audi (BBA). The brand plans to expand its product lineup by introducing an SUV and an MPV in 2026. Its customer base primarily consists of successful professionals, with “self-rewarding” consumption becoming the dominant trend. Female customers account for over 40% of buyers, and the brand has attracted a significant number of users from both Huawei’s and Apple’s ecosystems.
