While most ultra-luxury vehicles are increasingly cramming in oversized digital screens, the Bugatti Tourbillon takes a different path. Collaborating with Swiss watchmaker Concepto, it features a fully mechanical instrument cluster composed of over 650 individual parts. Inspired by the "tourbillon" horological mechanism invented in 1801—which also gives the car its name—the design emphasizes longevity and handcrafted artistry. The instruments showcase high-end watchmaking finishes such as Clous de Paris guilloché patterning and are adorned with ruby bearings and protected by sapphire crystal. To suit the automotive environment, the team developed specialized manufacturing processes that seamlessly integrate electronic components into the mechanical framework. The steering wheel features a fixed central hub, ensuring the instrument panel remains constantly visible. Although the system lacks a primary digital display, it incorporates modern electronic data processing, making it a functional yet artistic centerpiece of the cabin.
