Xiaomi Auto recently announced the latest progress on its energy replenishment network: its charging map now integrates over 1.7 million charging piles, a 66.7% increase compared to last year, covering 2,815 districts and counties nationwide, with stations deployed at 7,822 highway service areas. This includes more than 170,000 ultra-fast chargers and over 1.1 million DC fast chargers. In December 2024, Xiaomi partnered with NIO, XPeng, and Li Auto to access over 30,000 third-party charging piles, enabling real-time data viewing—though user privileges vary slightly: only select Li Auto chargers support scanning via the Xiaomi app, while XPeng supports plug-and-charge functionality. On its self-built infrastructure front, Xiaomi has piloted 600kW liquid-cooled ultra-fast charging stations in cities like Beijing, Shanghai, and Hangzhou, though it currently has no plans for large-scale deployment. Lei Jun emphasized that the current priority is optimizing compatibility between the SU7 and public charging stations, having already tested 70,000 public chargers and resolved hundreds of issues. Additionally, Xiaomi offers two home charger models rated at 7kW and 11kW.
