On February 13, Xiaomi Auto provided a detailed clarification regarding the voltage platform of its SU7 model. The company explained that the term "800V platform" actually refers to a broad voltage range, and not all variants operate at exactly 800V. Therefore, Xiaomi has avoided using the phrase "entire lineup at 800V" in its marketing, instead clearly specifying the peak voltage and charging efficiency for each version. The Standard and Pro trims feature a 752V full-domain silicon carbide high-voltage platform, enabling them to add CLTC-rated ranges of 450 km and 490 km respectively within just 15 minutes of charging. The Max trim, on the other hand, utilizes an 897V platform, achieving the fastest charging performance with up to 670 km of CLTC range added in 15 minutes. Xiaomi emphasized that all three variants are designed to meet diverse user needs and recommended customers choose the configuration best suited to their actual driving scenarios.
