On February 24, 2026, P3 digital services, a provider of in-vehicle infotainment systems, announced the launch of a new development initiative aimed at enhancing the safety of autonomous vehicles and accelerating OEMs’ new vehicle development processes. P3 is developing middleware that connects the Android Automotive operating system with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), standardizing high-definition map data via the ADASIS protocol and directly integrating it into the vehicle’s core operational network. This integration enables map data to go beyond navigation functions, providing real-time support to critical systems such as steering and traction control. As a result, the system enables earlier driving predictions, faster response times, and improved energy efficiency—delivering users a safer and more intelligent driving experience.
