Ferrari's first all-electric vehicle, the Luce, recently made its debut in an official teaser video. Although shown only as a silhouette in the night and with a fleeting glimpse of its headlights, it has already generated significant buzz. Positioned as a four-door coupe SUV slightly smaller than the Purosangue, the Luce features a 116.5-inch wheelbase and seats four occupants. Its distinctive identity is underscored by a new cabin designed by former Apple designer Jony Ive, along with an elongated hood and a subtly sloping roofline. Built on Ferrari’s proprietary EV platform, the Luce employs structural battery technology and is expected to deliver over 310 miles of range. It will be powered by a quad-motor setup—two motors on each axle—producing a combined output of approximately 1,000 horsepower and accelerating from 0 to 62 mph in just 2.5 seconds. The Luce is set to launch in 2026, marking a pivotal step in Ferrari’s electrification strategy.
