Tesla Vice President Tao Lin recently announced that Tesla China has surpassed 2,500 Supercharger stations, equipped with over 12,000 Superchargers, complemented by more than 650 Destination Charging stations and home charging services—forming the world’s largest self-built charging network. Simultaneously, Tesla is significantly expanding its charging team, opening numerous core positions in engineering, operations, site selection, and project management. This move aims to support the continued expansion of its charging infrastructure and meet the growing demands of open-network operations, as a large number of Tesla Supercharger stations are now accessible to non-Tesla electric vehicles. Globally, as of the end of 2025, Tesla has deployed over 8,182 Supercharger stations and 77,682 chargers, accelerating the development of the EV charging ecosystem.
