Shandong Unveils 12 Measures to Boost Auto Exports

On April 2, Shandong Province held a provincial conference in Jinan titled "Thousands of Enterprises Going Global: Shandong Trade Worldwide – Advancing High-Quality Development of Automotive Exports." The meeting outlined twelve key measures to support automotive enterprises in expanding into international markets this year. These include: - Expanding the export scale of "Made-in-Shandong" vehicles; - Encouraging automotive trading companies to jointly venture overseas; - Establishing an Automotive Export Development Alliance; - Organizing overseas market development activities; - Supporting enterprises in co-building and sharing international marketing and after-sales service networks; - Enhancing the quality and scale of used vehicle exports; - Strengthening logistics and transportation support; - Optimizing export tax rebate services; - Increasing financial and insurance support; - Improving customs clearance facilitation; - Strengthening service and support for enterprises; and - Enhancing enterprises' risk prevention capabilities.
