VOYAH has unveiled six exterior color options for its new model, the Taishan X8: Xuan Ying Black, Du Ruo White, Chen Xing Gray, Starlight Silver, Tourmaline Red, and Yuan Shan Blue. The vehicle is scheduled to officially launch in the first half of 2026. The Taishan X8 adopts VOYAH’s “Kunpeng Soaring Wings” design language, featuring a closed-off vertical waterfall-style illuminated grille at the front. With dimensions of 5,200 mm (length) × 2,025 mm (width) × 1,814 mm (height), its side profile maintains the golden proportions typical of large SUVs, complemented by flared wheel arches and robust door panels. At the rear, it sports a full-width matrix LED taillight strip with the “VOYAH” logo centered above a distinctive blue indicator light for intelligent driving functions. For the first time, the Taishan X8 will be equipped with Huawei’s next-generation four-LiDAR system, enabling L3-level intelligent driving assistance with capabilities including ultra-high-definition imaging, ultra-long-range detection, and ultra-precise object recognition. The cabin offers over 6 square meters of interior space, accommodating a fully flat 2-meter bed. The rear seats feature two zero-gravity seats, providing seating for five occupants along with storage capacity for up to 11 suitcases. Powering the Taishan X8 is a plug-in hybrid system comprising a 1.5T engine supplied by Zixin Technology Co., Ltd., delivering a maximum engine output of 110 kW. Two motor configurations are available, offering pure electric driving ranges of 190 km, 300 km, and 310 km respectively. The vehicle achieves fuel consumption figures of 6.8 L/100 km and 6.5 L/100 km under low battery conditions. It supports an 800V high-voltage platform and 5C ultra-fast charging technology, and will be offered in both PHEV and BEV variants.
