In March 2026, over 80% of Honda Passport sales were TrailSport trims. The TrailSport version was first introduced in 2022 and received a full redesign in 2026, adding numerous off-road features including 31-inch tires, steel skid plates, heavy-duty tow hooks, and 8.3 inches of ground clearance. Total Passport sales for the month neared 5,000 units, with the mid-grade TrailSport trim dominating the mix. Despite the strong performance of the TrailSport, overall Passport sales in March declined by 10.4% year-over-year. However, cumulative Passport sales for the first quarter of 2026 reached 14,045 units, up 20.1% compared to the same period last year. Meanwhile, the Honda CR-V remained the brand’s best-selling model, with nearly 100,000 units sold in the first three months of the year; Civic sales totaled 57,600 units. Both models saw declines of 3.8% and 2.3% year-over-year, respectively. Accord sales rose by 21.9% to 37,317 units, while Ridgeline sales edged up by 0.3%. Sales of all other models declined, with the Prologue EV plummeting by 65.3%, and HR-V and Odyssey dropping by 24.2% and 16.4%, respectively. Honda’s total U.S. sales for the first quarter of 2026 amounted to 304,478 vehicles, down 5.1% year-over-year, with March alone seeing a 12.9% decline.
