Ubtech’s smart logistics subsidiary, UQI, recently signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Honda Trading (China) Co., Ltd. The two parties will jointly explore the deployment of embodied intelligent humanoid robots and autonomous logistics vehicles in industrial manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics scenarios. They also plan to implement pilot applications and replicate successful experiences within Honda Trading’s supply chain system once conditions are ripe. Leveraging Honda Trading’s extensive experience and industry insights in global supply chain services—including trading of automotive raw materials, components, equipment, and technologies—the collaboration will focus on the automotive and related manufacturing sectors. It aims to advance applied research, scenario validation, and business model exploration for automation and intelligent solutions, thereby aligning robotic technologies with real-world industrial needs. Additionally, both sides will share insights on industry trends, co-develop next-generation intelligent manufacturing systems, and establish a strategic synergy. Honda Trading (China) serves as the China headquarters of Honda Trading Corporation, whose parent company operates across 19 countries and regions worldwide with 56 branches. UQI specializes in the coordination between humanoid robots and autonomous vehicles, committed to building end-to-end unmanned logistics systems, and has already developed replicable benchmark cases. Going forward, the two companies will deepen collaboration in areas including the promotion of humanoid robot applications, regional distribution of industrial mobile robots and autonomous logistics vehicles, and joint technological innovation.
