In its latest Q&A session with users, Xiaomi Auto announced that all YU7 models now come equipped with external microphone hardware, and the company will roll out an "external voice-assisted parking exit" feature via OTA updates in the future. This feature enables users to control their vehicle to automatically exit a parking spot using voice commands from outside the car. Currently, it supports three directions: "forward exit," "left exit," and "right exit," catering to scenarios such as when users have their hands full after shopping or when tight parking spaces make it difficult to open the car doors. To use this feature, the following conditions must be met: - The user must have activated the digital car key on their smartphone. - The options **[Advanced Driving Assistance → Parking Assist]** and **[XiaoAI Pro → External Voice Wake-up]** must be enabled in the vehicle’s infotainment system. - Voiceprint registration must be completed. Additionally, the new SU7 Pro and Max variants are equipped with a closed-loop dual-chamber air suspension system, which comes with a warranty of 5 years or 100,000 kilometers. This system has already entered mass production and is being delivered on the SU7 Ultra and YU7 Pro/Max models. All vehicles underwent extensive road testing and durability validation prior to launch. Xiaomi Auto also introduced a "forgotten phone reminder" feature: When the vehicle is in Park (P), a passenger opens the corresponding door, and a smartphone is charging on any of the vehicle’s onboard charging devices—including the front wireless charging pads, the built-in wireless charging phone holder, or the magnetic wireless charging phone holder (screen-interface version)—while remaining connected to the vehicle’s infotainment system, XiaoAI and the central display will simultaneously alert the user that they may have left their phone behind. The specific OTA rollout schedule for the YU7’s external voice-assisted parking exit feature will be implemented in phases based on adaptation progress. Users are advised to monitor official announcements and in-vehicle notifications for updates.
