Great Wall Motor's Haval brand has recently unveiled its first boxy-shaped flagship SUV based on the new "Guiyuan" platform, though the official name has yet to be finalized. Officially released exterior images show the vehicle features a distinctly squared-off design with a narrow-top, wide-bottom body proportion. It offers a two-tone color scheme combining a black roof with a golden body, complemented by bright silver roof rails, a rear-mounted spare tire, conventional pull-type door handles, and multi-spoke glossy alloy wheels. The front fascia is equipped with quad-element headlights and a prominently raised hood structure. Vertically oriented taillights are featured at the rear, while a roof-integrated LiDAR unit and a blue indicator light for advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) are visible in side views. The SUV is expected to target the premium segment priced above RMB 300,000. Great Wall Motor Chairman Wei Jianjun announced via video that due to internal disagreements over naming, the company is now inviting public suggestions. Current candidate names include "Haval HX" and "Haval H10."
