The Wey V9X plug-in hybrid SUV will open for pre-orders on April 16. The model has been included in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s “List of New Energy Vehicle Models Eligible for Purchase Tax Exemption (Batch 28).” It features the Super Hi4 hybrid system, comprising a 2.0T engine, a dedicated 4-speed hybrid transmission, and an 800V high-voltage architecture, and offers two all-electric range variants: 240 km and 363 km. Built on Great Wall Motor’s Guiyuan S platform, the vehicle measures 5,299 mm in length, 2,025 mm in width, and 1,825 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,150 mm. It adopts a 2+2+2 six-seat layout. Exterior highlights include a star-ring full-width light bar (with flowing welcome lighting effects), full-width taillights featuring elliptical elements on both sides integrated with intelligent driving status indicators, and a dual-tone body finish. Inside, the cabin features a dual-screen setup combining the central infotainment display and a passenger-side entertainment screen into one seamless unit. Rear passengers are treated to an onboard refrigerator and a flip-up second-row entertainment screen. Performance-wise, the V9X accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds under full electric charge and supports 6C ultra-fast charging technology. Chassis features include a self-developed large-angle rear-wheel steering system and a closed dual-chamber air suspension.
