The BYD Yangwang U8L four-seater will make its official debut at the Beijing Auto Show on April 24. As the flagship model of the Yangwang family, it offers enhanced cabin experience, exclusive ownership benefits, and expanded personalization options. Starting at RMB 1.3 million, it is positioned in a distinctly higher price bracket compared to the six-seater variant. The 2026 U8L features BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery and flash-charging technology for improved range, along with three new safety functions: Emergency Float Mode (automatically activated in water emergencies), NOA Blowout Stability Control (maintains stability and enables safe stopping after a blowout), and comprehensive privacy protection across all scenarios. These safety upgrades will be rolled out via OTA updates to existing models.
