On April 8, XPeng officially kicked off the preheating campaign for its flagship SUV, the XPeng GX, unveiling exterior images in two new color options—"Fjord Grey" and "Golden Sunrise"—alongside detailed design explanations. Positioned as a "New Tech Flagship," the vehicle is described as an integrated technological masterpiece designed for the era of physical AI. The "Golden Sunrise" paint draws inspiration from Kawagebo Peak of the Meili Snow Mountains and features BASF matte clear coat combined with a ceramic-grade nano-coating, boosting surface hardness by 50%. The body adopts a yacht-inspired streamlined silhouette, complemented by a clamshell hood, an integrated clamshell tailgate, hidden window seals, and expansive flush-mounted side windows. Making its debut on the XPeng GX is a space-ceramic 24K gold emblem, paired with floating-style wheels and 22-inch ultra-wide asymmetrical tires. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with the segment’s largest panoramic full-width light bar and million-pixel DLP digital projection headlights.
