On April 8, Dongfeng Nissan launched the all-new mid-to-large SUV, the NX8, offering seven variants with an official manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) ranging from RMB 159,900 to RMB 209,900. A limited-time promotional price is available from RMB 149,900 to RMB 199,900. Built on the Tianyan architecture, the NX8 features a closed-off front grille, full-width daytime running lights, sharp LED headlights, a floating roof design, and flush door handles. It measures 4,870 mm in length, 1,920 mm in width, and 1,680 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,917 mm. The rear end is highlighted by a 2.4-meter-long full-width "Star Ring" light bar. Inside, the NX8 adopts an enveloping cockpit layout, equipped with a two-tone, two-spoke multifunction steering wheel, floating dual screens, wireless smartphone charging, and a head-up display (HUD). For intelligent driving, it is fitted with LiDAR and supports highway navigation-assisted driving (NOA), urban navigation-assisted driving (NOA), and all-scenario smart parking functions. The NX8 offers both extended-range electric (EREV) and battery electric vehicle (BEV) powertrain options. The EREV variant combines a 1.5T engine (148 hp) with an electric motor (265 hp), paired with either a 37.4 kWh or 43.2 kWh battery pack, delivering WLTC-rated all-electric ranges of 185 km and 214 km, respectively. The BEV versions feature motors producing either 292 hp or 340 hp, coupled with either a 73 kWh or 81 kWh battery pack, achieving CLTC-rated all-electric ranges of 565 km and 630 km, respectively.
